Had to make a quick stop at Costco today. Unlike some of you, my local Costco does not have any pianos or keyboards on the floor, waiting for some huckster like me to try them out. There were a couple of unweighted Yamaha keyboards over in a corner, but they weren't plugged in.

I stumbled upon your blog today via the Piano forum. I really enjoyed reading all of the past posts.

I also am on a piano mission. I have played primarily by ear for several years and decided it was time I learned to read music. I'm pretty good at playing the chords so I am focusing on playing the treble clef notes with my right hand while chording with my left.

I have recorded some songs and put them on Youtube. You can see them here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulywicFvOlo. (Cut and paste into your browser or search for b528nf7 on Youtube). I currently have 12 "classic rock" type songs posted.

BTW - I now have a Yamaha Clavinova and wouldn't trade it for any acoustic in the world. I love the voices, the fact that I can practice with headphones and it sounds great (at least to me).
