Where's the recital?
Sorry for the delay, I am still recovering from Epic Fail (as the kids these days say). I haven't had the time courage to pull the camera out of the trunk of the car, much less view the clip or post it to Youtube.
Really, it was bad, and I am a little shaken and discouraged from it.
- Aw2pp, who doesn't park anywhere after a 2" snow fall.
You have my sympathy. It was three years before I was happy with the way I played for an audience. Now it has been 7 years and I still get butterflies, and make mistakes, but I have come to enjoy the process.
Playing in public is like everything else; the only way to learn is to practice. Don't be discouraged.
I am unable to play in front of Family/ friends so I am in awe that you even got up on stage. Put it down to experience, learn from it( painfil as that may be ) and resolve to do better next time.

I'll bet that you weren't as bad as you think you were.
