Order placed

Some time tomorrow, a brand new Casio Ap-200 with a bench, pair of headphones, and a desk lamp will be loaded onto a truck in Franklin, Wisconsin. From there, it will make the 106 mile journey to our new home, and begin teaching us its secrets. I don't really know how long it will take to get here, but the vendor, Kraft Music, said to expect seven days. I'm betting the under.

Pics and excited stories to come.

That sounds pretty exciting. Hopefully you'll be back to playing piano shortly. It will be interesting to hear what your thoughts on this model are in the long run and if you end up with anything else eventually.

It's a good thing you've got a piano on the way though as we will soon be heading into those winter months where less and less is done outside so it should be great for keeping busy!

Oh, I didn't ask before, but who's going to go first on the piano? What pieces will be played?

Good question. If we can get the thing screwed together before bedtime, the kids get the first shot. Pictures will come.

I suspect the first piece they play will be one of Jillian's own compositions. I haven't talked much about this here, because it's hard to describe the music without hearing it, but Jillian writes her own pieces. They are very simple, and won't win any Grammys, but her creative energies impress me to no end.
